This mask is made out of wood, fur (leopard), animal hair and plant fibers. There is a rope at the back so that the mask can be worn. The hook at the back was placed later, so that the mask could be attached to the wall. As a result, the mask was no longer an object of use, but became an art object.
Below is another mask from the Wee-people: Wee mask Wereldmuseum. It could be a dance mask, but more likely it's a judge or police mask. It's an anthropomorphic mask; the face forms an angle, with a prominent forehead above cylindrical eyes. The nose has a characteristic sharp back and convex wings. Under the nose is attached a row of stone rings from which the warthog's teeth protrude. Some teeth are also in the lower lip. Under the chin is a surface composed of strings of blue beads.
