Digital Reconstruction of the "R" Logo

When I began working on the Rijksuniversiteit Limburg logo for the paperweight, I faced an unexpected challenge: I could not find a high-quality version of the logo online that matched the one on the original paperweight.

To solve this issue, I took an alternative approach. I obtained a photograph of a physical piece of paper displaying the logo and carefully edited it in Photoshop. This allowed me to recreate the logo as accurately as possible, ensuring it closely mirrored the version seen on the paperweight, despite the challenges posed by the photograph's imperfections.

This process of editing the logo allowed me to preserve its authenticity while adjusting it for use in the digital model. Although the logo was recreated digitally, the small imperfections still reflect the real-world character of the original paperweight.
