Creating a New Stick for 3D Representation

The stick attached to the training head’s face presented similar challenges in the Structure-from-Motion (SfM) process as the base, due to its plastic material. However, the results in Metashape were not as problematic as I had anticipated when the software generated the 3D model from the photos of the physical object.

The Unedited Version of the 3D Model's Stick

Given the stick’s simple shape, it was quicker to manually recreate it in Blender than to refine the model generated by Metashape. In Blender, I used editing mode to shape the stick and then applied a simple plastic texture in shading mode. However, I used the ends of the original model to ensure the new stick closely resembled the physical object’s appearance.

This approach allowed me to create a more accurate representation of the stick, closely matching its real-world counterpart.
