While Structure-from-Motion was effective in creating the 3D model of the face, the reflective plastic base proved challenging. The shiny surface made it difficult for the software to capture accurate details.
The Unedited Base of the 3D Model
To solve this, I turned to Blender, a 3D modeling software, where I manually recreated the geometry of the base.
Recreating the Base in Blender's Editing Mode
Once the shape was ready, I applied a plastic texture in Blender to give it a realistic appearance. For the stickers on the physical base, I photographed them, edited the images in Photoshop, and then mapped them onto a flat surface within Blender. I carefully positioned this plane onto the 3D base to replicate the stickers’ placement.

This approach allowed me to effectively replicate the plastic base, achieving a detailed and convincing result in the final 3D model of the training head.
