You Can Do It! (ilium assembly)

I've done the assembly of the 3D models of Muffin's ilium in virtual space. This is my interpretation of how they might have been reconstructed. For those who want to try it out themselves, you can download each individual fragment from Zenodo and arrange them how you think it should be. This can be done in any 3D modelling software, like Meshlab or Blender.

But if you want to try it out in the Voyager viewer, you can do so at the Smithsonian's website for testing out the Voyager workspace. This is called Voyager Standalone and it is important to know that it does not save your work on a web server. However, when you click the 'Download' button in the upper right-hand corner of the interface, a zipped project folder containing all the 3D models and a JSON file with your assembly is downloaded to your computer. This is a saved version that can then be later uploaded to Voyager Standalone for showing others or continuing to work on your own assembly.

Below is an instructional video showing how to upload these models and start assembling the ilium. You can pause the video when necessary and expand the video viewer to see things more clearly.
