Carl Jung’s conception of the individual sees him is to unite his conscious and unconscious which have collective and personal facets. The collective unconscious is marked by so-called archetypes which are stories, people and places of humanity throughout the centuries. They appear in dreams, myths, literature, etc. Key archetypes are the shadow (dark side), the persona, the anima, the mother, the child, the wise old man, and the Self (What are the 12 Jungian archetypes?, 2023). The magician is another archetype/personality which is centred on transformation and power through knowledge. They are naturally born leaders.
