After processing our Barbie doll model with the help of MetaShape, we were able to start shaping our story behind Barbie. In order to skilfully transport the Barbie doll into a story, we were allowed to learn the Voyager programme. During a skills session, we sat together as a group with all the other students and got to grips with the programme with the help of a worksheet. Step by step, we each went through the various tasks individually and at our own pace. It was particularly helpful that we could ask our neighbours or one of the two tutors directly if we had any questions. This session has already helped us a lot.
After this group session with the tutors, we decided as a group to split up the tours and continue working individually in Voyager. As we had already seen the basic steps once, it was easier for everyone to continue working independently. Of course, it was not possible to memorise and perfectly master all the steps in the short time available, but this was not a problem as the help pdf file provided by the course helped with most questions. A small obstacle was that it is not possible to work in Voyager at the same time, but this was not a problem because we coordinated well with each other. However, a slightly bigger problem arose towards the end of our co-operation with Voyager. The closer the deadline for the assignment came, the more important our final adjustments became for our project. As we had to make quite a few adjustments shortly before the end, it was unfortunately very unfortunate that suddenly none of our group members could access Voyager. As a solution, we concentrated on adding what was missing in the programme to the submission form.In summary, we still had a mostly positive experience with Voyager.
