This scholarship edition is a testament to the collaborative process and our academic work. We, Mateusz Kubow and Tristan Willems-Pisco, participated in the project Toys with Voyce during their Master’s studies in Media Studies: Digital Cultures at Maastricht University. We have combined our passion for media, digital technologies and exploring the intersection of academia and creativity.
Mateusz is a BA European Studies graduate and a current MA Media Studies student at Maastricht University. He is interested in the intersection of technology, creativity, and user experience. Through this project, he was able to put his skills in 3D modelling, creative direction, and project management to work.
Tristan is BA Digital Society graduate and is also studying the MA Media Studies. He has always been interested in the various ways that the digital has shaped how society moves forward. He aims to work in the field of technology assessment, which requires the critical analysis of products and technologies. These sorts of skill were utilised to critically dissect different cultural dynamics found within a Nerf gun.
