This edition was created by two students of the Master’s Media Studies: Digital Cultures at Maastricht University, Isabel Cortés Rodríguez, and Beatrice Giordano as part of the course Creating Digital Collections.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Complutense University of Madrid. After a gap year, I decided to continue to further my education and that is why I chose this Master. This project was a challenge as it was the first time I had to work using photogrammetry. Learning about the cultural and societal importance that mundane objects like toys have in the world and combining all of the techniques I learned in this course proved to be a very rewarding experience that I know is going to be very useful in the future.
I am an Italian expert in communication and media, graduated from IULM University in Milan. I have worked as an Omnichannel Strategist and Head of Communication for MIAT-Multiverse Institute for Arts and Technology since 2023. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree at Maastricht University to explore the intricate links between emerging technologies and our society. My interest lies in the possibilities that emerging and immersive technologies offer in shaping new narratives and providing a new space for creating a better environment for future generations and minorities.
