2. Tarzan
Tarzan, released in 1999, tells the story of a baby left behind in the jungle who grows up with wild animals (Wiki, C. T. D.,n.d.). The main male stereotype portrayed in this story is that men should protect their families at all costs. In this film, for Tarzan, Jane, and his gorill family are the ones to protect, and he tries to keep the peace in the jungle from civilized people (Male stereotypes, n.d.). This value that men should protect their families is similar to the sense of responsibility that men in "Mulan" have to protect their country and families.
