Tetiana Borokhovska
Hi, my name is Tetiana or shortly Tanya. I have obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media in Belgium. Having worked for two international NGOs in Belgium and Ukraine where I furthered my skills in communication and digital marketing, I decided to pursue my academic education at Maastricht University. In my current master studies, I focus on the application of cutting-edge technologies in media. This has led me to investigate the phenomenon of virtual influencers in the framework of my ongoing master thesis. This course project has given me the possibility to gain deeper knowledge on photography, 3D modeling and helped me to understand the historical and cultural influence of toys.
Helena Baumane
Hi, I’m Helena. I have previously graduated with a Fine Art Bachelor’s degree in Groningen, Netherlands. There my interest went into using digital means to create art such as film, sound, and digital posters. Since starting my academic journey I have also gained insights into different parts of the art world. In this Master’s course, my interests lie in understanding how developing digital technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence systems, might be used in combination with artistic practices. The Creating Digital Collections course has added to my knowledge of digitisation by helping me understand the process of 3D modeling and how it can be used to preserve objects in the digital age.
