The toys created by Schleich are manufactured and produced by Nani Sarl, a company that creates toys for brands such as Disney, Playmobil, Ravensburger, and many others. The Company was founded by Paul and Marc Kraut in 1982 and specialises in crafting lifelike replicas of fantasy figures and animals. Their design process includes thinking together on the toys with the customers, designing the toys to be mass producible and creating the mould that the toys are made from. The toys are then decorated by hand. Nani Sarl also takes care of the logistics and deliveries.
By decorating tbe toys Nani Sarl believes they have a special responsibility towards both children and parents. They try to rely on minimal machinery and their figures are crafted and painted mostly by hand as a result.
Their promises include dedication to inclusivity by supporting local kindergartens and schools in Tunisia while being partnered with UNICEF. The company is also partnered with the Federal Ministry for Economic cooperation and development and tries to offer economic opportunities to Tunision job seekers, locals that might have a disadvantage or even Tunisian people returning from Germany.
